One of the top ten swine management companies in the United States is currently seeking experience Production Managers in multiple locations with a passion for the Swine Industry. They will be overseeing 3-4 farm operations with a size of 5600-600 head of sows at each location. These positions are located in Indiana and Illinois. Relocation assistance will be provided.

To Be Considered for this Role:

• You must have a minimum of 5 years of sow farm management experience ideally with multi-site responsibility and a BS degree in Animal Science or equivalent education/work experience.
• You must have experience in Proper Production Techniques; handling employee situations; managing and directing various farm management teams and overseeing system wide concerns as the relate to: Staffing; Training; Safety & Bio-Security; Maintenance; Waste Management; Transportation and Purchasing Programs.
• Knowledge of Gilt Production and proper gilt selection protocols.

Management: Your experience will allow you to manage operations at farms and farm manager who, in turn, manage people. You will be responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the farms & their managers. You will ensure managers are optimizing performance; safety procedures are in place; repairs and maintenance are within budget; implement improvements in production techniques; oversee deliveries and set production goals. You will coordinate Multiple GGP & GP farms; produce top quality replacement gilts for customers and monitor the gilts selection protocols.
