U.S. Feeds, LLC is a full line, commercial feed manufacturer, located in Central Iowa.  The company distributes livestock nutrition products through committed, full service retail ag dealers.  Dealers can be either privately held enterprises and/or cooperative in nature.  US Feeds provides related business planning, sales assistance, technical nutrition training, financing and delivery services necessary in servicing today’s customer. U.S. Feeds distributes concentrates, premixes, minerals, complete feeds, liquid feeds and health products for all livestock species. Innovative programs continue to be developed for an evolving industry including Dairy, Beef, Swine, and Poultry.

Available Opportunity: Marketing Manager
This position will lead in development and execution of marketing programs.  The Marketing Manager will also provide leadership and services to others within the organization in regards to the utilization of electronic tools, presentations and outreach. There are a variety of potential growth areas to increase contributions to our organization whether through excellent writing, design, web strategy, social media or presentation skills of the individual.

Duties:
This is an opportunity to bring a unique set of skills to the US Feeds team with a somewhat flexible position tailored to serving both our internal and external customers.
Regular duties could range such as follows:

  • Work to help create and safeguard corporate standards regarding identity, brand items and logos.
  • Assist with the design and development of brochures, advertising, event promotions and other related items.
  • Create and maintain a budget for marketing costs
  • Contribute to the execution of several US Feeds internal and external customer events.
  • Assist with electronic presentations for customer and employee meetings.
  • Lead the project management of e‐newsletters from objectives, authoring and execution.
  • Work together with the US Feeds management team to provide excellent customer service to fulfill all needs of staff, dealerships and end customers.
  • Help to develop and grow our online presence through the utilization of such tools as our website, resource library, social media, etc.
  • Take a leadership role in regards to the maintenance and use of our internal printing capabilities.
  • Help to develop and fulfill trade show needs through booth design, distribution and maintenance.
  • Help to build and maintain marketing related databases while personalizing and executing several mailings.
  • Maintain all photo libraries and related releases while also assisting with taking photographs.
Requirement:
  • Good communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Computer skills and proficiency needed to accomplish marketing objectives (Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, etc.)
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience and capabilities
  • Understands and adheres to the Values of US Feeds, LLC

    • Assistance in the development and promotion of the US Feeds, LLC brand
    • Completion of established marketing and electronic objectives
    • Continued professional growth

    Position Location: This position is headquartered in the Eldora, IA office, but will require some travel within the Midwest.
