Grow your career while growing our pigs! We’re looking for a Breeding Manager to pay an integral part in managing a 2400 head commercial breed-to-wean sow unit. This growing company is continuing to develop its’ swine business and needs promotable leaders.

Overview
To be successful in this role you must have leadership potential, animal husbandry experience, be thorough in your work and be able to hold people accountable while inspiring them to do quality work.

Immediate responsibilities include managing the breeding department for a successful sow unit. As advancement opportunities arise, you will be considered for Farrowing Manager or Farm Manager-in-Training positions in the region.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and caring person with 1-3 years leadership experience in a large-scale total confinement swine operation. Concentrated experience with breeding is a plus. Strong math, communication, and leadership skills are needed to be successful. Since this is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, we need someone who is adaptable and a team-player. Being good with detail and follow-through are necessary.
